I am professional photographer, biologist and birding guide, trully passionate about nature and conservation. I live in a small family nature reserve in the foothills of the Santa Marta mountains where we protect a patch of forest in an ecological regeneration process.

I have been doing birding/nature trips for more than 12 years mainly in the Santa Marta mountains and other areas of the country. As a birder and wildlife guide I know the natural history, ecology, habitat and behaviour of a particular species, as a photographer I know there is a big difference between watching a bird in the forest canopy and taking a good portrait at eye level, so the nature photography trips I have developed are designed from the wildlife photographer's perspective.
